Parents, teachers, students, lunch aids need to educated on the long term devasting effects of bullying. There is so much focus on educators to “leave no child behind” that we are raising proficient, bullies, gang members and wall street criminals.

Thank you from the bottom of this future professional school counselor’s heart! I graduate this December with my MA in School Counseling and am looking forward to shifting the climate of whatever school I am in to embrace multi-cultural and affectional orientation diversity training. It is essential for the success of all of our students.

Again, Sincerest thanks!

Veronica Daniels

Obviously, we all need to challenge others to disengage from such overt abuses that threaten the health, safety, and general well being of individuals as well as our collective constillation of differences that make up our commuties, moving our society toward a more integrated and positively linked interactive unit. By modeling and refusing to be an accomplice, glossing over and minimizing the affects of unjusttified behaviors, we can all be proactive in our opportunities to increase understanding of self as well as fostering awareness of the shared similarities and differences that contribute to an environment that promotes continuity and engaging open dialogue about false perceptions and beliefs, opening the door to growth and learning.
